I’m in Bonesteel, South Dakota, interviewing a couple people for a potential future novel. I’m on vacation with my wife and two sisters and their families, off from my executive job, and I decide to tell my interviewees that I’m trying to get into Stanford’s 2-year online creative writing program to write novels. My sisters overhear. Ha! Here we go!! If I get in, I will quit my job next year and make a run at this, seriously.
