Let’s continue to examine how to set major themes to create deeper plot and story development. In this 2 of 4 posts, will focus on major factors impacting our characters.

For my work, I’m considering factors that will examine and explore change, loss, knowledge, perseverance, and innocence. For each factor, I’m considering a spectrum to evaluate. For example, the wife in my novel can see loss even predict it, and she is almost held captive by this anxiety. But, the husband is oblivious to pending loss.

When you think about your story, what factors do you want to question or challenge?
